Originally a project to design a concert poster for any musical group, I reinterpreted the artwork from one of Alt-J’s singles into a new visual identity for a hypothetical special edition rerelease of their 2012 album, An Awesome Wave. The physical typography was created by carving and photographing blocks of ice in front of a luminous sunset background.
